  1. This is eye-opening. I think gullibility is the theme that connects these beliefs. I think it’s important to remember, however, that every action conducted by a group of individuals for personal gain is, by definition, a “conspiracy”. Hence, we should consider all of these theories for any legitimate evidence they might contain. While it’s obvious that most of the theories cited above have been thoroughly refuted (e.g. sun revolving around earth), there are some unpopular theories that have a substantial basis in fact. For example, regarding 9/11:

    Beyond that, there are a wide variety of peer-reviewed scientific studies to demonstrate the danger of fluoride. Here is a recent one pertaining to neurotoxicity in children:

    I think it’s important to keep an open mind. There’s a lot of nonsense out there but we shouldn’t let that drown out the facts on topics as important as these.

  2. Who are these people!?!? Why don’t I often meet any of them??? I don’t deny that this infographic is true, it’s just so strange that I almost never encounter the 1 in 5 Americans who believe that the Sun revolves around the Earth.
